VeriJob prioritizes utility and transparency. This document outlines how we analyze URLs, monetize our forensic data, and protect the public ledger.

1. Information We Collect

Required for forensic analysis.

Submission Data

URLs, email bodies, and text descriptions you paste into the scanner.

Technical Data

IP address (temporarily logged via Upstash for security & rate-limiting).

Interaction Data

Clicks on 'Recommended' or 'Sponsored' partner links.

2. The "Public Ledger" Protocol

Please read this carefully.

VeriJob functions as a public security database. When you scan a URL, that URL and its resulting risk report become publicly accessible information. We aggregate this data to train our detection engine and protect future users.

⛔ Do Not Scan:

Private Google Docs, password reset links, or URLs containing PII (Personally Identifiable Information).

3. Monetization & Affiliates

How we keep this tool free.

VeriJob is supported by partnerships. Some links on our result pages (labeled "Recommended" or "Sponsored") are affiliate links. If you click these links (e.g., for Identity Protection or Courseware), we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

4. Data Security & Processors

We utilize enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and encryption at rest. We share data only with the following categories of third-party sub-processors:

5. Commercial Use

By using VeriJob, you grant us a license to use the anonymized scan data (e.g., "Domain X is a scam") for:

  • Improving our threat intelligence API.
  • Sharing fraud indicators with B2B partners.
  • Publishing aggregate safety reports.

6. Your Rights & Controls

Whether you are in the Philippines (DPA), Europe (GDPR), or California (CCPA), you have rights regarding your data.

Right to Access & Delete

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you or request its deletion ("Right to be Forgotten") by emailing us. Note that publicly aggregated scam data (non-PII) cannot be deleted as it serves a public security interest.

Cookies & Opt-Out

We use "Functional Cookies" for site security (e.g., rate limiting). We do not use "Marketing Cookies" to track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser, though the scanner may stop working.

Governing Law & HQ

VeriJob operates globally with headquarters in the Philippines. By using this service, you agree that any disputes shall be governed by the laws of The Republic of the Philippines and adjudicated in the competent courts of Metro Manila.
